This year, Yong-en Care Centre celebrates its 30th anniversary. In this season of Lent, let us take time to pray intentionally for their ministry, staff and clients. We recognise that God is the One who is guiding the work and bringing it to fruition.
Let us take time to pray for those who give and receive through our community outreach arm.

- Pray that caregivers can find peace, comfort, and strength for their loved one living with dementia
- Pray that in the moments of confusion for seniors living with dementia, families and caregivers will have patience and compassion, retain dignity of seniors living with dementia, and go on the journey with love

Community Relations
- 30th Anniversary preparations: Wisdom in planning and execution of year-long celebratory events.
- Fundraising needs: Success with the upcoming campaigns, Lent, and Charity Golf
- Pray for Haley (staff) to have a quick and smooth recovery from broken ankles
You can read more about their work here. In this season, Yong-en also invites you to consider a simple discipline for Lent:
- Fast from treats or costly meals
- Skip non-essential purchases
- Be present — e.g. less screen time, more connection
- Turn daily chores into prayers
- Live simply, remembering those in need
In your prayer and sacrifice, may the Lord be glorified and the work at Yong-en be multiplied.
