Formed by Love: A Series on the Ten Commandments

On 28 June, we will embark on a sermon series based on the Ten Commandments, to see how they point us to love God and love others, which is the theme for us after NextFairfield. In conjunction with the sermons, the Fairfield Teaching Programme will cover the Ten Commandments from a perspective of Christian Ethics from 5 July.

God Himself is the source and giver of the Ten Commandments, and the Creator of humanity. So we believe that these commandments continue to speak into our modern human lives. The heart of the series is to help believers grow in love for God and their neighbours, and to flourish in the church community. From an ethical perspective, we want to see how the Commandments bring unchanging moral clarity into our chaotic and changing world. As we are convicted by what is preached, may it lead to transformation, deliverance, holiness and grace through the Holy Spirit. (Reference: J. John – Just10)
